  It’s a short book, 49 pages long, in which Diane describes a simple method for prayer to help people get “unstuck” in their prayer practice. It’s very non-denominational, not preaching any certain religious view or anything. Just a short, practical how-to book. Diane wrote the book herself and have it under Creative Commons license. It can be given away, shared, etc., but not altered. She wrote it under a pen name since her name is so long and clunky.

We have a wrong idea about what it is to live in victory if we think is a life without trials and tribulations. Jesus said that in this world we were going to have afflictions but He also said if we trusted Him we will overcome. In the spiritual guide God gave us, The Word, He explains everything that is needed in order to live a victorious life. Yes, it is possible to live that kind of life even in the world we live in but we have to be willing to surrender our lives to God trusting that He wants the best for us.

We examine the story of Jesus and Muhammad, the rise of Christianity and Islam, and the forces that have shaped our religions (Both East and West) over the centuries. First, I would like to say that this book is not in any way against God, or for that matter really about God at all. Rather it is about the human experience concerning God, and how we have taken the Divine and used it for our own ends.
  
  This book comes in two parts. The first half looks at how we as a civilization got to where we are now in both our physical and spiritual development. It gives a history of Humanities development of religion and spirituality. The second half allows us to take a long look at ourselves as a people and a civilization. It examines our religious beliefs and the practices of the “priesthood” that have made our world here in the twenty first century the way it is!
